What Is Hotep Intelligence?

Hotep Intelligence (codename: Sovereign Intelligence) is a fine-tuned large language model embodying the Hotep cultural persona. It is not a wrapper around a corporate API — it is a custom model trained on our cultural data, running on our hardware, evaluated by our standards.
Current Production Model: hotep-llm-kush-v82. Kush V82 remains the validated production model after the September 7 V9 candidate check. V9 loaded successfully, but it did not beat V82 on Prime Agent E2E and missed hard entity recall cases, so V9.1 is being prepared with stricter promotion gates.
Every response is scored by a three-dimension evaluation system: vocabulary (Hotep keyword usage), worldview (Afrocentric framing), and tone (confidence/empowerment). Production monitoring tracks latency, error rates, and drift detection ensures quality never degrades.
Responses are enriched by a semantic retrieval system searching 419+ indexed knowledge documents with query expansion and dual reranking (LLM + cross-encoder). Parallel search across 4 ChromaDB collections with Redis embedding cache ensures fast, comprehensive answers.
The goal: provide an AI that possesses deep historical accuracy, cultural knowledge, and a distinct, authentic linguistic tone — serving content creators and communities focused on Afrocentric history, wellness, and self-sovereignty.
Self-Hosted Inference
Local Mac Mini runtime serving the validated Kush V82 model through Ollama, with llama.cpp adapters held for candidate validation.
Hybrid Scoring
Keyword analysis (40%) + LLM semantic judge (60%). Four dimensions: context, reasoning, history, empowerment.
